Everything you need to know about booking our dragon and lion dance team for your upcoming performance, celebration, or workshop.

How much space is needed for a performance?

Our performance can be adapted to various venue sizes. A standard two-lion performance requires an open area of roughly 4x4 metres, while our dragon dance requires a larger open hall, stage, or outdoor space.

 

Can you perform indoors with live drums?

Yes, we perform indoors regularly. Our instruments can adjust their dynamics to fit acoustic spaces, or we can coordinate custom arrangements to ensure the perfect volume for your guests.

 

How far in advance should we book?

For peak seasons like Lunar New Year and spring wedding dates, we recommend booking 2 to 4 months in advance. However, we always do our best to accommodate short-notice requests.

Do you travel outside the Sydney metropolitan area?

Yes, Sydney Yun Yee Tong regularly travels throughout regional New South Wales and interstate for festivals, corporate retreats, and cultural exhibitions.

Can you customise banners and scrolls?

Absolutely. We can produce custom scrolls displaying your company motto, wedding couple names, or specific good fortune greetings in both English, Chinese & Vietnamese characters.
